Fulfilment Update #8: Fulfilment Complete*

Hey villagers!

First off let me apologise for the radio silence for the last few weeks. As well as shipping pledges & pre-orders, we have been busy moving our base of operations from the massive rented warehouse to our much more modest garage. The remaining Villagers stock just about fits in next to my bike and the Christmas decorations.

Here's a video of the first games being moved in (it's fine, my bike didn't get crushed)...

*Fulfilment Status

We have shipped all pledges to backers who sent us their details before the deadline for address changes. If you changed your address after that, we still need to send your pledge, which we will do in the coming weeks.

This has been an extremely demanding & stressful job for Carly & I, and I'm sorry that we weren't able to deliver some pledges as quickly as you (and we) wanted. I'm happy that we came somewhere close to success, because it could have been a huge disaster! We've learned a lot along the way, but I wouldn't take on such a big job again without having several more permanent team members. That said, we are immensely grateful to our small army of "living wage-slaves", without whom we'd still be bagging up pledges for the USA. So Kris, Bailey, Dave, Paul, Steph, Richard, Lauraine, Simon, and Elise: we salute you!

Support Requests

Carly is working through a large backlog of messages from backers relating to missing / damaged pledges. A small percentage of problems are to be expected with any fulfilment job, and this has been a particularly large one so please bear with us while we get through everything. We are responding to every message in the order they were received.

If you've already contacted us, please wait for us to reply to you. Multiple messages just slow us down.

If you need our assistance with any aspect of your pledge, you can:

Replacement Cards

As you may be aware, there are 3 cards with errors that got past our proofreading. All known errors are listed on this BGG forum post.

To rectify the mistakes, we are producing a 5 card pack so you can replace your defective Bed Builders, Priests, and End of Draft Phase reminder cards. Replacement cards will be free of charge and hopefully will include free or incredibly cheap shipping. Our plan is to run a 30 day pre-order campaign on our website for the replacement card pack, a 5 card promo pack with 2 new villagers plus a solo game reminder card, and a neoprene Villagers playmat.

I don't have any dates for this yet, but pre-orders will open as soon as I've finalised the logistics. You guys will be the first to know.

The Future

The end of the main phase of fulfilment marks the end of regular Villagers Kickstarter updates. I know, it's kind of sad, and I'll miss talking to you guys! But I'll still post here when there's important news to share, such as the aforementioned pre-order, the new coin chests (fantasy & sci-fi won the poll, if you were wondering), and news of Haakon's hotly anticipated follow-up to Villagers...

Fulfilment Update #7: Austria to French Polynesia

Hey villagers,

It's been a slow week in the warehouse because James has been poorly and at the same time Carly & I badly needed to recharge our batteries. Despite this, we completed shipping to the following countries:

• Austria
• Belgium
• Czech Republic
• Denmark
• Estonia
• Finland
• French Polynesia

All pledges for the following locations have been packed and will be shipped on Monday & Tuesday next week:

• Germany
• Greece
• Hong Kong
• Hungary
• Iceland
• India
• Indonesia
• Ireland (Republic)
• Israel
• Italy

We'll be working this weekend so we'll get lots more done. You can track our progress on this chart.

Please Read This Important Information

• We will ship all remaining pledges by country in alphabetical order. It's really hard to estimate when any specific country will start shipping, but these updates will tell you where we are in the process. You can also use the Fulfilment Progress chart to figure out when we might process pledges for your country.
• When your pledge has shipped, you'll get a shipping notification email from [email protected]. The subject line of that email will be "Your Villagers pledge has shipped!" - this will help you to locate it if it ends up in your spam folder.
• Whatever you do, remember that we love you dearly, and please do not contact us to ask when your pledge and / or country will ship. We can't give you an exact date, just keep an eye on these updates, your email inbox, and the chart!
• If you pledged for more than one copy of the game, they will be sent separately.
• The Kickstarter Expansion Pack and Coin Chest (if you pledged for one) is packed inside the Villagers base game.
• If you're in Europe, your pledge will take an average of 3-5 days to arrive after being shipped. If you're outside of Europe, it's 5-7 days. • If your pledge is returned to us because you gave us incorrect shipping information, informed us too late of an address change, or failed to collect your package from your local delivery office, we will ask you to cover the cost of re-shipping it.

Hello villagers!

We just got back from the warehouse where we've had a very productive week. Thanks to working the weekend and having three different helpers, shipping to the following countries is now complete:

• USA
• Argentina
• Australia
• Brunei Darussalam
• Bulgaria
• Chile
• Croatia
• Bulgaria
• Cyprus

Pledges for the following countries have been packed and will be shipped on Monday 8th July:

Pledges for Brazil and China are being sent by a different method and we hope to send them out next week. Backers from Brazil will be contacted shortly by email.

Fulfilment Update #5: USA, again.

Hey villagers,

It’s Friday, it’s hot, it’s a fulfilment update!

We shipped more pledges for US zip codes beginning 4, 5, 6, and 7 this week. We have another ~500 pledges to go before we’re done with those codes, and then we’re into packing the final batch of US pledges which cover zip codes 93600 - 99999.

Three of us are working in the warehouse all weekend because we don't like nice weather or the company of friends & family, and so we expect to complete shipping pledges for the USA by the middle of next week.

The next countries to be shipped will be Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, etc.

Fulfilment Update #4: USA

Hey villagers!

It's Friday, and that means we're taking a look back at another week in the dusty sunless cavern that is the Villagers fulfilment HQ! We love it really ;-)

This week it's all been about the USA. We have:

• Completed shipping to zip codes beginning 0, 1, 2, and 3.
• Completed packing and started shipping pledges to zip codes 80000 - 93599.
• Started packing pledges for zip codes beginning 4, 5, 6, and 7.

We have emailed all backers whose pledge has shipped. Please don't contact us asking if / when your pledge has shipped. We will get to you, just wait for the email.

When we're done with the USA, we will ship to all remaining countries in alphabetical order. Please don't think we're ignoring your country when we don't mention it specifically - it's just difficult for us to estimate shipping dates for specific countries right now. We will continue to let you know exactly how shipping is progressing via these updates. Don't worry, we will get to you!
